University of Houston’s Muslim Students Organization is raising funds for a tent that can provide a place for students to break their fast and pray. Their existing facilities on the campus are no longer sufficient so help them get a Tent to accommodate their Ramadan needs.
Some quick stats:
- 5,000 meals are served to students during Ramadan
- 2,000 square feet of space is needed to properly accommodate all students
- $60,000 is the fundraising target.
