Of the several communities Masjid al Salam caters to, the Office of Youth Development was established to focus especially on the youth community. Youth participation in the masjid is an area of keen focus for the OYD team. We conduct and host numerous programs and events designed to help integrate Islam and its virtues in the youth, and train them to be successful leaders of society at large. With the help of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala (Glorious and Exalted is He), we strive to provide a nurturing environment for our youth where they are able to reach their utmost potential, along with providing our youth with the resources they need to succeed in dunya (temporal world) and akhirah (the Hereafter).
