The sighting of the new moon is a significant event for Muslims around the world, as it marks the start of Ramadan—a time for reflection, prayer, and acts of charity.
We invite you to join us for a fun-filled Family Field Day and picnic at the masjid’s soccer field on Friday, March 17 (5 pm until maghrib). You will be customizing and flying your very own kite, and enjoying various sports activities paired with refreshments! This event is open to everyone and is a wonderful opportunity to come together in celebration and unity with your friends and family! Remember to RSVP; you will be required to present your ticket. This event carries a $10 fee per family, payable at bit.ly/oyd-payment-portal.
We encourage everyone to bring a picnic sheet and/or folding chairs to spread on the soccer field. You may bring your own sandwiches or finger foods for your family and friends.
