Dear Champions Community,
We are pleased to announce that Sister Laila Rahman has been named Champion of the Month for December 2024.
For the past three years Sister Laila Rahman has been an integral part of the Champions Dar-us-Sakinah program, serving students with special needs, including those with Autism and Down syndrome. She has worked tirelessly to teach them Islamic Studies, Qur’an memorization, and the daily prayers. Currently she supports students, volunteers, lead teachers, and seventeen special needs families, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment. Her contributions extend to organizing key events such as the Eid Salah, Eid Festival, and Fall Carnival. Her dedication continues to strengthen our vision of becoming a Center of Excellence (CoE).
