- The Sisters group at Masjid AlSalam invites all sisters to a potluck brunch.

At our October Chai & Chat, the Masjid Al Salam sisters welcome Shaykh Dr. Abdurahman Hejazi as our new religious scholar- he will be our guest of honor at the Sisters’ Potluck. Here is the agenda for this program:

10:30am – Volunteers set up MPH.

10:45pm – Drop off children at childcare, dishes at the table, and take a seat.

11:05am – Quran recitation & translation.

11:10pm: Welcome note & Sisters updates.

11:15am – Welcome Dr. Sheikh Hejazi (Intro)

11:30pm – Brunch
-
11:45pm – Talk about the significance of a sisterhood and leadership roles in Islam.

12:00pm – Ask the Imam session. Ends with a closing note & dua.

12:45pm – Sisters Only social time.
-
1:30pm – Clean up and Child(ren) pick up.
